We went at 8am which I think was the best time – the coast and ocean was getting very busy by 10am.
The use of waterproof bags was a nice touch. The guys were friendly and helpful.
But the star of the show was the cliff and caves – absolutely stunning. An unmissable experience.

I did a private tour to Benagil Cave and I had such a great time. I wanted to make sure I visited the cave at 7 am, before all the other tour began, but I don’t have enough kayaking experience to feel comfortable going on my own, so I booked a private tour and it was the best experience ever! Definitely the best way to get inside the caves! Joaquim, my guide, was really nice and agreed to meet very early in the morning, so I was able to enjoy the cave to myself for a while. What a magical experience it was! Getting up early was totally worth it! Joaquim was very kind, patient and fun, I totally recommend this kayaking tour to everyone who wants to see Benagil Cave (and some others in the area) .
