Come join the Mount Batur Trekking with Breakfast And Pick-up From Bali with our experienced local guides! We will make sure that you have a great time and your safety as well!
Following pick-up from your hotel, head to the Kintamani region to hike your way up Mount Batur. This iconic, extremely-active volcano draws many visitors from around the world with its beauty and promise of adventure. From the starting point, which is located right in the bottom of the mountain, hike for around 2 hours up to the peak.
From the top you will experience the a scenic sunrise view and the green caldera around the volcano. Witness a thick blanket of darkness be replaced by glistening orange and gold rays, bursting from the silhouette of Mount Agung with the glassy untouched sheen of Lake Batur. Your professional guide will make you delicious eggs cooked with the steam from the volcano.
As your descent begins, you will explore three younger craters while taking in the amazing volcanic landscape. You have an option to visit a coffee plantation site to enjoy a delicious cup of local Luwak coffee before heading back to your hotel.

When you trek back down the mountain, you can choose to relax at a natural hot spring (100K IDR per person) at 09:00, then you will visit a coffee plantation site.

verifiedThis was a thoroughly enjoyable trip facilitated by our driver, Wira, and hiking guide, Nova – both of whom were super friendly, funny and experienced in their roles.
Wira picked us up, perfectly on-time, for an early start and provided some useful information on Mt Batur during the c. 1 hour journey from Ubud.
On arrival we met up with Nova who issued us with head torches and explained that the hike up Mt Batur would take c.1.5 – 2 hours. The hike itself is great fun – it’s a 600m gain in elevation and non-technical, although you’re walking on volcanic ash which can be a little tricky to get a foothold on until you get used to it!
The view from the top was magnificent – the sun rise over nearby Mt. Agung is breathtaking. Nova did a great job running around to serve coffee, a good breakfast of egg/banana sandwiches and fruit and to take some victory photos at the top!
After some time to relax and enjoy the view Nova led the way back down, providing some useful explanations of the nearby terrain and impressing us with his knowledge of both English and German regional dialects!
We met back up with Wira who then drove us on for a quick visit to a coffee plantation where we had a quick (15 minute) explanation on the coffee manufacturing process (including kopi luwak) and a chance to taste some of the different coffees and teas.
Overall, from Ubud, the trip lasted 8 hours (02:30 – 10:30) and is highly recommended – 5 stars!

The hike itself is really awesome. Even we struggled a bit with the challenge to climb Mt. Batur everything was well organized and the people there are just incredibly friendly and helpful. Our guide Nova really does an amazing job and you can feel that he loves what he is doing. He is such a nice guy and we had so much fun with him.
On top on Mt. Batur the view is just stunning. It’s really worth every step you have to take. The breakfast was great and you can relax while the sun is climbing over the mountain with the clouds below. We really enjoyed every single second of this tour and the guys that accompanied us made that trip the best we have had in Bali. It’s really great how they are trying to make everything perfect for you. Keep up the good work and all the best. We can absolutely recommend this tour as a combination of hiking, enjoying a stunning view and getting in touch with Balinese people. 5 stars +++
