Lisbon Dolphin Watching Tour With Marine Biologist

Set off on an exciting adventure to immerse yourself in nature. Departing from the Santo Amaro dock, we venture out to seek dolphins in their natural habitat. Our agile semi-rigid boats allow us to get remarkably close to wildlife, enabling you to observe various cetacean and bird species, all while accompanied by a knowledgeable marine biologist.

As we navigate the Tagus River, we’ll pass under the iconic 25th of April Bridge and head towards the Atlantic, offering breathtaking views of the Bugio lighthouse and the stunning Portuguese coastline.

Stay on the lookout: dolphins often travel in pods, so if you spot one, there’s a good chance there are more nearby! While we sometimes see them in the Tagus, we always explore the open sea in search of other groups or, with a bit of luck, additional species such as whales, sharks, jellyfish, or sea turtles.

You’ll have a fantastic time observing playful dolphins, learning to identify their unique traits, social behaviors, and other intriguing facts. They often come right up to the boat, delighting us with their playful antics.

Our tours last between 2.5 to 3 hours, concluding with a scenic return to the Santo Amaro dock, where we’ll make a brief stop near the Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries.

While our dolphin watching success rate is around 97%, please note that we cannot guarantee, as dolphins are wild animals.
