After walking for hours, that swim in the sea was probably the best I’ve ever had. The ferry ride and coach journey back were both well organised, and despite the long day, everything ran smoothly.

Once inside the gorge, you’re free to walk at your own pace, which I really appreciated. I never felt pressured to keep up with a group.

Reaching Agia Roumeli felt like a real achievement. We rewarded ourselves with fresh seafood at a beachfront taverna before jumping into the sea.

It was a fantastic hike! there’s no need to carry excessive amounts of water. cuz you can refill it anywhere in the mountain.

The first section is quite steep, and your knees definitely feel it, but after that the touch more enjoyable. The constantly changing landscape kept us motivated the whole way.
