Our comfortable, air-conditioned mini-van or bus will pick you up from our meeting point in Split or Trogir and drive through the countryside towards Plitvice Lakes. It’s the most beautiful natural park in Europe, protected by UNESCO since 1979 as a World Natural Heritage Site. This national park was founded in 1949 – one of the oldest national parks in Europe.
Enjoy a 3.5 hour pleasant drive through the Lika Region until you reach this famous UNESCO World Heritage site. Our tour guide will provide you with some historical information about the park and Croatia along the way.
After arriving in Plitvice Lakes National Park, start your adventure through the hiking trail, following the guide on a 8-km trail to Gornja Jezera (Upper Lakes). You’ll be constantly amazed by its turquoise lakes around you, the beauty of the waterfalls and the amazing views at the viewpoints. Plitvice Lakes is made up of 16 lakes that are connected by waterfalls and surrounded by picture-perfect woodlands. In total, there are 7 routes and 4 hiking trails in the park, that is why you need a professional guide to show you the best spots!
After walking, hop on a boat – it’s time for a relaxing boat ride to enjoy the beautiful view at the lakes. You can also have a walk at Donja Jezera (Lower Lakes). And for the final touch, trade the boat for a seat on a panoramic train to enjoy the stunning view of this fairytale national park.
After a full day exploring the beautiful forests and lakes, you will return to Split or Trogir where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or at the meeting point.
