Our Day Trip begins from Chania. After picking you up from your hotel or a nearby location, we set off toward Heraklion. The scenic drive takes approximately 3 hours, with a short stop near Rethymno along the way – just enough time to stretch your legs and take in the surroundings.
Our first stop is the Knossos Palace
Accompanied by our licensed guide, you’ll discover the ruins of this legendary site and learn its fascinating history.
The Minoan palace is the main site of interest at Knossos Archeological Site. It was once a major city of ancient Crete, continuously inhabited from the Neolithic era until the 5th century AD. Tradition holds it as the seat of King Minos, and it’s famously linked to the myths of the Labyrinth and the Minotaur, as well as the tale of Daedalus and Icarus.
Heraklion City & Archaeological Museum
Next, we head to the center of Heraklion. Here you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch and shop. While in Heraklion, don’t miss the opportunity to visit the world-renowned Heraklion Archaeological Museum with our guide. The museum showcases an extraordinary collection of artifacts from the Minoan period – including murals and treasures from Knossos.

Rethymno Old Town
Before we head back to Chania, we’ll make a stop in the city of Rethymno.
Stroll through one of Greece’s best-preserved medieval towns, where Venetian architecture blends seamlessly with minarets, Orthodox and Catholic churches, and winding cobblestone alleys. The atmosphere is captivating – like stepping into a fairy tale. Feel free to explore, take some photos, or enjoy a coffee by the sea before we head back.
